<p>Next you have to consider the proper exercises that do target the abdominal muscles. Start with building on your core strength. With these exercises you won&#8217;t need fancy equipment. Here, you will need to start with push ups. In addition to that, you should also start doing squats. Both of these exercises will strengthen your body&#8217;s center core and lay the right foundation for what is to come.</p>
<p>Sit ups and crunches are also important in building these abs. Start slow and work your way up. The repetitions and sets that you do count. So, you can begin with ten or 15 repetitions in each set and try to increase that amount each time. Do at least three sets.</p>
<p>If you stick to your routine and really give it a serious effort you will see results within a few weeks. There are no magic formulas when it comes to having a fit body and six pack abs. You need to find the right combination of different things that will help you achieve your goals.</p>

<p>For your diet, it is important to eat regularly and sensibly. Six pack abs can only be built and defined if there is enough energy in your body to burn off. Calories are energy. This does not mean you should eat bigger meals; far from it. You should probably cut down on your meal sizes; and eat more often.</p>
<p>Fruits, nuts and vegetables intake should be boosted, whilst you should aim to drink at least eight glasses of water each day, and have one with every meal you eat.</p>
<p>Once you are satisfied that you can handle this change, and start eating and drinking sensibly, you can start with a regime of exercises to give you the six pack abs you are after. There are a host of exercises you can do without having to go to the gym; though you may get the discipline you need from this.</p>
<p>Crunches are ideal. Lying on the floor, cross your arms in front of your chest. Breathe in and flex your abs and, using only these, raise your shoulders towards your knees. Do not lift your entire back, as this can cause straining and is not necessary. As your shoulders lift off the floor, exhale. Inhaling again, lower your shoulders to the floor and repeat the process.</p>
<p>Sit Ups, are also very good. Again, lying on the floor, with your feet on the floor and knees up, place your hands behind your head or crossed over your chest. This time, lift your entire back off the floor and lower yourself slowly.</p>
<p>Another exercise that is effective are leg lifts. This time, you should lie on your side with your hands at the sides. You should lift your legs directly upwards; ensuring not to bend at the knee, and lower them in a similar fashion.</p>
<p>As these exercises become easier, you can make things harder for yourself by introducing weights and repeating the same exercises on an incline or with the use of an exercise ball. One thing not to do is increase the speed. These will not develop your six pack abs any quicker; it is with control that these come.</p>
<p>There are many other exercises that also help with the development of six pack abs. These include Jackknife Sit Ups, which are a more complicated form of the standard type, involving your legs more. V Ups too can be effective, where lying flat on the floor with your arms extended behind your head, you aim to make your hands and feet meet.</p>

<h4>Cat stretch</h4>
<p>Get down on the floor with your hands and knees, with muscles relaxed and looking straight ahead.  Next, tighten your abdominal muscles while thrusting you back upward as far as you can.  Maintain the position for five counts before lowering your back.</p>
<h4>Bicycle Crunch</h4>
<p>To do this, start y lying flat on the floor. Put your hand beside your head then raise knees up to 45 degrees angle and them perform a pedaling motion like what you do when you ride a bicycle.</p>
<h4>Standing Side Bends</h4>
<p>Standing side bends encourages the loss of fats in the oblique muscles. To start, stand up straight with the stomach sucked in, legs straight and hands on the sides. BMI is a calculation of kilograms/meter squared.  A BMI between 18 to 25 is healthy. But someone who is very fit and muscular could have a BMI greater than 25. This would classify them ass overweight.</p>
<p>Body shape can also be an indicator of good health. Doctors are looking at waist measurements because they know that &#8220;apple-shape&#8221; people carry excess weight around their middle. These people can be at risk of obesity-related conditions such as heart disease. If your waistline is larger than 35 inches, you are at an increased risk of health problems like diabetes, high blood pressure and high cholesterol.</p>
<p>Other health indicators would be the skin. Tan, freckles or moles that are odd shaped or growing, this probably mean an unhealthy skin. Tanning or sun exposure an age the skin and increase the risk of skin cancer. Use sunscreen and get a dermatologist opinion about spots and moles.</p>
<p>When brushing your teeth, check your spit.  If there is blood, your gums may need attention.  Bleeding gums indicate poor oral health and vitamin deficiencies. Gum problems can now be linked to heart disease, clogged arteries, stroke, premature birth, and diabetes.  women who have preterm deliveries have more severe gum conditions with mothers with normal deliveries. People with gumdisease and tooth decay are almost twice as likely to die of heart attacks and almost three times as likely to have a stroke.</p>
<p>Also, feel your lips. If your lips are dry and chapped, it could signal to you that you are dehydrated, which is an unhealthy state for your body to be in. Dehydration can cause headaches and fatigue, as well as drain the moisture from your skin making it look old and dry.</p>
<p>Nail problems can indicate viral, fungal, bacterial or yeast infection. It may also show abnormal levels of oxygen in the blood, kidney disease, thyroid disease or psoriasis and malnutrition or a vitamin deficiency.</p>
<p>You do not have to depend only on six pack abs, biceps or lats to say something about your health and other people&#8217;s health.  There are several indicators that you should never ignore.</p>
